Extra Activities

As well as the courses listed, you will have a chance to take part in extra activities in an early morning session. The details are given below.

Ukulele (Tim Martin)

After breakfast before session 1, Tim, this year's Folk Tutor, is back taking a daily morning ukulele session. If the weather is nice, we will gather outside, otherwise in a corner of the main hall.

Ukuleles will be provided, but please bring your own, (if you have one) - to ensure there are enough to go round.

After a successful course last year, the class will concentrate on playing rhythmically together and listening to each other rather than worrying too much about getting all the right notes. We will be trying a few more chords and working towards playing together in one of the evening concerts (only if you want to).

No previous playing or musical knowledge is necessary and above all it will be about learning whilst having some fun.  So dust off your ukuleles and join in - to blow the cobwebs away every morning with a bit of strumming.
